Desired results of student learning
My senior project was originally a project assigned in my U of U Humanities class. We were supposed to choose an issue we believe our generation was faced with. At the time, there was technical difficulties and the actual project couldn't be shown. However, since it was due for my class I was left to find another form to represent what I have done and learned so I created this PowerPoint. The point was to get people to be more involved in the political process and since I chose to continue my project onto my senior project I really learned a lot and applied it to the way I view myself as a citizen and I am going to vote and have actually taken my time to be informed. Something I wouldn't have done before this project.

I had the opportunity to be part of the University of Utah Humanities class and was assigned the longest, personal, and thought out paper I have written as a student. I had to really think of the best way I could briefly write about the biggest parts of my life and still successfully carry out the message I wanted without getting lost in interpretation or timeline.

During my senior year at AMES, I took a statistics class. We were put to the task of designing and actually conducting a statistical project. We had a list of questions to choose from. My partner and I chose to answer whether the location would alter a participants answers. We found it very difficult to think of a way to make it as unbiased as possible and have a good question to ask participants and an appropriate sample size.
